ʻIli
The ʻili in my ahupuaʻa is called Sunrise. This is the group of apartments/townhouses that I lived in throughout my stay in Ewa Beach. This little place is made up of many townhouses that are arranged in an oval-like shape, leaving a big area in the middle for the children of the townhouses to run around in. The townhouses that were in my area were about $1,300 a month. The townhouse that I lived in had 3 stories and I lived on the top one. Sunrise was a very nice place to live in and the people were very nice. Although it isnʻt the nicest group of townhouses in ʻEwa, there was still a lot of resources to use. For example, we had a rec center and a pool.
